If your pregnant:

It’s best to sign up around the third month of pregnancy. You will have time to get to know people in your due date range and start having an opportunity to get your pregnancy related questions answered from a doula with 15 years of experience. 

If you are already parenting:

You are welcome to sign up at any time. You may not be taking a Birthing From Within class anytime soon, but the Bringing Baby Home and Emotion Education workshops are designed to help parents with kids 3 and under.

There are three reasons.

I'll be honest with you, fixing a damaged relationship is expensive. So is separating from your parenting partner. People want to maintain relationship satisfaction and intimacy.

Investing in your relationship is worth every penny.

2. To be a better parent.

When parents get along well and feel connected to each other, they in turn have better relationships with their children. The way to be the best parent possible is to have a solid relationship with your partner. This also sets a good example for your kids about what a long term relationship should look like.

Loving your partner is a gift to the whole family. 

3. Parents are suffering alone.

Having a solid community of people who also value strong relationships is so meaningful for the early years of parenthood. You will get both information and community with a membership.

Our classes help families build a web of belonging within their own homes.

Hello Introverts,

When you join a session at Thresholds you don’t have to participate in group chat unless you want to.

I’ll offer an opportunity for folks to share their thoughts and feelings, and that time is where a lot of the true wisdom nuggets come into light, not from me as the mentor, but from the other parents in the class. You can soak it all in without having to put out much effort unless you want to. The other nice thing about the membership is that there are ongoing meetings where you can deepen relationships.

You can join when you want to and you will still save money over the 12 months that it is recommended to take all of the workshops.

The instructors may vary. Amity Kramer will be leading most of the sessions. As the membership grows there will be more and more facilitators joining the community. Depending on our on-call doula schedule, client needs, we do not always know who will be teaching what class. If you have specific questions please be in touch.

The membership is a great deal! 

Over the years I find that most families only attend one of my workshops, but in reality they are all beneficial to maintaining relationship connection and balanced personal growth between parents. I want to encourage your family to take all the classes over a 12-24 month period so that you are able to stay connected through sleep deprivation, parenting challenges and general life stress that will alway pop up. 

I’ve also found that there are a lot of memberships and groups that offer support to one parent. But few offer support to the grown-ups and are laser focused on improving their relationship to enhance all other parts of their lives. 

I have my own personal reasons for wanting more people to maintain relationship satisfaction. I believe that it will change the world.

How?

• Positive relationships lead to less stress. 
• Less stress leads to less fighting.
• Less fighting leads to more time to engage meaningfully with your kids.
• More engagement from parents means kids are healthier. 
• Healthy kids have less stress. 

This allows kids to do better in school, have better relationships.

When kids are thriving it creates less stress for parents.

Lower stress for parents allows for time to connect with each other. 

Then we are back to the beginning. 

Learn these important relationship skills early in parenting and it will create a positive feedback loop in your family, in your community, in your state, in your country, in our WORLD. 

That’s a long way to say that I want to help the world be a better place. I want these resources to be available to as many people as possible and still be able to provide for my family and support folks in my community. A membership is one of the ways I hope to achieve this.
