Babies sleep a lot.

The problem is, most babies sleep best when they are being held. This will mess you up if your are not ready.

Most new parents want to soak in their baby and make sweet memories of the newborn time, but they don’t actually know how to just sit, therefore you need to practice before your baby is born so that you can be ready.

Each day sit.

Start the first day for 1 minute, then 2, and 3, and 4. Keep adding one minute each day until you can sit for 10min. While you are sitting you can look out the window, rest your eyes, say gratitudes in your mind, sing songs.

The point is to practice sitting is a rejuvenating way.

There will be time to look at your phone, watch TV, or phone a friend. But— there will also be time when none of that feels right or won’t be available.

This is the time your practice will pay off because you will not be as scared to be alone with your own mind.

We live in an over stimulated society where work is praised over most everything else.

You can show and teach your baby a different way.
